When Can Christians Expect To Be Raptured?

Why All The Confusion Over The Rapture?

I have been preaching to Christians all over the world for 8 years now via the Internet, and I can tell you that there is a lot of confusion about exactly when the rapture happens. From my experience, I would say that most Christians I have come across do believe in PRE tribulation rapture. But where in the bible are they getting this theology from? What scriptures are they using to build their faith in a PRE tribulation rapture? When I have confronted Christian after Christian on this topic, not a single person could ever show me a scripture pertaining to a pre tribulation rapture. If most of the Christian world believes in a pre tribulation rapture, but there isn’t a single scripture in the entire bible that teaches this ----->>>

WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE!!

Let’s take a look at the scriptures for ourselves and find out what GOD says about when he will bring us up in the air to be with him for eternity.

A great place to start would be with JESUS, who is himself GOD. Let us find out what JESUS had to say about the rapture of his Christian church

John 6:39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. JESUS clearly says here that he will raise us up on the last day, not the first which is being preached all over the world. The last day can only be at the very end of the 7 year tribulation.

John 6:40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day.”

Here is it again, JESUS who is GOD himself is saying that we will be raised up on the last day. We must learn to trust what JESUS says and stay away from the teaching of people who preach a different Gospel then what the bible teaches.

John 6:44 For no one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them to me, and at the last day I will raise them up.

Again, 4 different times from John 6:39 to John 6:54 JESUS clearly says he will raise us up on the LAST DAY. Turn to JESUS and work on your relationship with him now while it’s easy, so we will be in a close personal intimate relationship with JESUS when the 7 year tribulation starts.

John 6:54 - But anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise that person at the last day.

There it is again, 4 different times JESUS said he would raise us up at the LAST DAY!

John 11:23-24
Jesus told her, “Your brother will rise again.” 24 “Yes,” Martha said, “he will rise when everyone else rises, at the last day.”

(Martha said to JESUS that her brother would rise up on the last day, JESUS DIDN'T CORRECT HER. JESUS accepted her statement that he WOULD raise up Lazarus on the LAST DAY

Paul states that the rapture and resurrection happen at the same time! How can there be a resurrection at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation when nobody has died yet?

(1Thes.4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven, with a shout…and the dead in Christ shall rise first; (17) then we that are alive, that are left, shall together with them be caught up in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air.

We learned by the above scripture that the rapture and Resurrection happen at the same time. Since they both happen at the same time, let us search scripture to find out when the resurrection happens.

(1Cor.15:51) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep (die), but we shall all be changed, (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Notice that Paul clearly says that we will all be changed at the LAST TRUMPET. Not the first trumpet, but at the last trumpet. The 7th and last trumpet will be blown at the end of the 7 year tribulation, not at the beginning.

1st Cor.(24) Then [cometh] the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. (26) The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.

Notice that the last enemy that shall be abolished is death. The resurrection and rapture, which abolish death,
are at the end when God will have abolished all rebellious rule over and in His people, not seven years before the end when the influence of the beast, the harlot, sin, and the world system still have some hold on them.

(Acts 2:34)…The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, (35) Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet. The Lord will not come until His enemies are under His feet and His elect are completely restored. Obviously, the Lords enemies aren’t yet under his feet at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation.

This clearly means that the Lord JESUS will not be coming back at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation but will remain at GODS right hand.

(3:20) [A]nd that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, [even] Jesus: (21) whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all (of God’s elect) things
(“things” is not in the Greek)…. When all are restored through the tribulation, the Lord comes.

Here is that one resurrection again. (Rev.20:4)…[I saw] the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (5)…This is the first resurrection. Notice that the saints who were beheaded because they would not take the mark of the beast are in the first resurrection. It was called first by John looking into the future from 96 A.D. after Jesus’ resurrection. This tells us that there is no resurrection and rapture before the tribulation mark of the beast. The second resurrection, called the second death in verse six, is after a thousand years and is for the wicked.

Since the first resurrection is also the only resurrection of the righteous, it must be at the end of the tribulation. If it was at the beginning, the great multitude that is purified during the great tribulation could not be resurrected.

(Rev.7:9) After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of [all] tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…. (14)….And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Notice that the resurrection and rapture are after the great tribulation, which most agree is the last 3-1/2 years.

1Cor.15:22) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. (23) But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming. Notice that after Christ’s resurrection, there is only one more resurrection of the righteous dead, “they that are Christ’s at his coming”. Of course, this is only speaking of permanent resurrections in the heavenly body. Since there is only one more resurrection and rapture, they must be at the very “end” or everybody who gets saved cannot be resurrected. (24) Then [cometh] the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have abolished all rule and all authority and power. (25) For he must reign, till he hath put all his enemies under his feet. (26) The last enemy that shall be abolished is death.

Notice that the last enemy that shall be abolished is death. The resurrection and rapture, which abolish death, are at the end when God will have abolished all rebellious rule over and in His people, not seven years before the end when the influence of the beast, the harlot, sin, and the world system still have some hold on them.

The rapture and resurrection are after the great tribulation, which is the last 3-1/2 years of tribulation! Matthew 24:21 says, “[T]hen shall be great tribulation and verses 29-31 say, [A]fter the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light…and they shall see the Son of man coming…and they shall gather together his elect…from one end of heaven to the other.” The same verse in Mark 13:27 says, “From the uttermost part of earth to the uttermost part of heaven”. Taken together, we see that one end of heaven is on the earth, the living, and the other is in heaven, the dead. We see here that Jesus is rapturing and resurrecting His elect after the great tribulation. After the tribulation the sun and moon being darkened signal the coming Day of the Lord or flood. (Acts 2:20) The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of the Lord come, That great and notable [day].

Mathew 24:22 In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.

God’s chosen ones are the Christian church, so this scripture points out clearly that we will be going through the 7 year tribulation. Then JESUS says that the days will be shortened for our sake or all of mankind would be destroyed.

Matthew 24:27-31 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even into the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For where ever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.  Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. Once again, here we see that scripture clearly says after the tribulation JESUS comes back.

First Resurrection -  4 Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their forehead or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.  5 This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.) 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. For them the second death holds no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him a thousand years.

We clearly learn here that the first resurrection happens after the 7 year tribulation is over. Since the resurrection and rapture happen at the same time, we know that the rapture also happens at the end of the 7 year tribulation.

Acts 14:22 (Paul says) - confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God. Paul says that we enter into heaven through many tribulations, so why is the Christian church teaching that we will escape the 7 year tribulation?

In conclusion, if our LORD JESUS was treated badly and killed by his enemies why would we think that we will all fly away and escape? Scripture states over and over again that we will be raised at the last day or last trumpet. What an incredible deception it is to preach that we will all fly away at the beginning of the tribulation when it cannot be found in the bible. In fact, I have never found even 1 scripture that promotes a pre tribulation rapture, not 1. All of the disciples had terrible deaths besides John. If you were to study Fox’s book of Martyrs there is a clear picture here that from the time that JESUS rose from the dead that Christians were being persecuted and put into heavy tribulation all over the world. Paul talked about extensively just how much tribulation he had gone through for the sake of JESUS and the good news. Even Paul didn’t escape this and fly away so why would we? The early church were being eaten alive by animals in the Coliseum, and also used as outdoor torches for the Roman parties and orgies they were having. They would light the Christians on fire and use them as lamps for their evil parties. Are we better then the early church? Are we following JESUS more closely then the early church was? Are we more in love with JESUS now then the early church was? OF COURSE NOT. Now let’s look at our world today. Christians all over the world right now are in heavy persecution and tribulation. From China all the way to the Middle East Christians are being beaten, tortured, imprisoned and killed for following JESUS. In fact, Christians are rounded up and beaten and imprisoned for just reading the bible. If all of this and much much more is happening right now in our time, why would we ever think that we will all fly away to heaven in safety when this has never happened in the history of man. When in the bible did Christians escape persecution and tribulation? It can’t be found. What would the Christians in China who are being tortured and imprisoned think about the western view that we will all fly away before the 7 year tribulation starts? What would the Christians in Cuba think whom many of them are in underground prisons with no windows to look outside. Some of them have no toilets to use. What would the Cuban Christians think about the all fly away rapture? How about in the Middle East where Christian women are having their breasts cut off with machetes with no medicine or anesthesia all because they are following JESUS. What would they think of our all fly away rapture theology? People listen, we aren’t going anywhere. The bible shows us over and over again that we will be going through the entire 7 year tribulation. So now is the time for us to get ready. How could a person possibly get ready to go through such a terrible time in the world? There is one way and one way only. We must abide in JESUS. Those who are abiding in JESUS and clinging to JESUS with all of their heart and soul will make it through the coming tribulation and enter into heaven for eternity. Am I saying that you won’t be martyred? No not at all, what I’m saying is that by abiding in JESUS no matter what the government might have in store for you. No matter what the evil religious groups might have in store for you, as long as you’re abiding in JESUS you will enter into your destiny with GOD and be a citizen of Heaven for eternity. We have to use our time now to fall madly in love with JESUS and build up our spiritual endurance because the 7 year tribulation should be starting very shortly. Let us work on making JESUS the very love of our life now. if your not sure on how to make JESUS the love of your life, please read my article on how to fall more in love with JESUS and enter into your destiny with GOD right now.
